Barclays was nominated for a 2016 Drum Marketing Award in the category of “Direct and Promotional Strategy of the Year.” The bank took an outstanding approach to welcoming new clients when they launched an email campaign featuring a short, friendly Personalised Video. The video offered a warmer approach to onboarding and incorporated information specific to each and every client, making for a highly relevant viewing experience.
The campaign brought on an uplift in usage and activation across online banking (14%), text alerts (5%), Pingit (11%) and mobile banking (4%).
Barclays called upon creative agency RAPP to produce the Personalised Video.
