We’re often included in vendor reports by analysts covering “the best enterprise video platform.” It happened as recently as this year.
In one report, I remember we were named a market leader in the industry alongside the likes of Brightcove, Vimeo and Kaltura. Great company to keep, but we don’t do exactly what they do. And none of the other players in these reports offer everything we do.
So what is an enterprise video platform? We’re one of them, but we focus on Next Gen Video, which we’ll cover a little more below. We’ll also explain what enterprise video platforms are, why we fit in this category, what the top enterprise video solutions are today (subjective, but we gave it a shot) and what you should look for in a video platform, whether you’re an enterprise or not.
And so without further ado, let’s get to it.
What Are Enterprise Video Platforms?
Enterprise video platforms (EVPs) help organizations create, manage, store or distribute their external-facing video experiences at scale.
Most EVPs are cloud-based, making them easy to manage and more accessible across teams and locations. Some are comprehensive, all-in-one platforms, while others specialize in a particular function like video creation, video hosting or livestreaming virtual events.
What makes an EVP different from other video platforms is that they’re built for, well, enterprises. Unlike consumer platforms like YouTube, enterprise video platforms meet the complex needs of large teams and global organizations. That means enterprise-grade functionality, optimized workflows and a focus on control, security and scalable performance.

Why do brands need these platforms? Because video content isn’t optional anymore. Whether it’s employee onboarding videos, customer support tutorials or video marketing campaigns, video is now a critical part of how businesses connect with people. But making it all work — across teams, time zones and tech stacks — can get complicated fast.
That’s where EVPs come in. They give companies the infrastructure to leverage video communications at scale, helping them meet the growing demand for high-quality video experiences.
And the demand is only growing. The enterprise video platform market is projected to surge from $25.11 billion in 2025 to $76.08 billion by 2032, reflecting just how vital video has become to modern business strategy.
Where Idomoo Fits In
So what does an enterprise video platform actually look like? Well, here’s one example: us.
As we mentioned earlier, EVPs vary in what they offer and, in our case, we’re focused on making Next Gen Video possible at scale.
When we say Next Gen Video, we’re talking about video that goes beyond traditional static content. It’s cinematic quality video that can be personalized for millions, updated in real-time with live data, made interactive and even AI-powered. Just check out what’s possible below.
Making these campaigns happen takes more than just any old video editor. It takes an end-to-end video creator, which is exactly what we offer.
With our cloud-based and API-friendly Next Generation Video Platform, you can connect your data, design the video (or rather, let AI do it), render it, distribute it across channels and see how it performed with detailed video analytics reporting metrics about who’s watching and how.
There are tons of ways to use this kind of video. Want to explain pricing to a prospect? Make them a personalized sales video that breaks it all down. This dynamic quote video, for instance, makes the offer clear and engaging.
Looking to improve loyalty? Send customers a tailored thank-you video highlighting the benefits they’ve enjoyed so far. You could even gamify product recommendations with interactive quizzes. Those are just a few use cases, and the list keeps growing.
We’re not trying to do everything. We’re just really good at what we do. But if Next Gen Video isn’t what you’re into, no worries. There are plenty of other enterprise video platforms out there, each with their own strengths.

What To Look for in an Enterprise Video Platform
When evaluating an EVP, it’s important to look beyond flashy features. Here are some key features to keep in mind.
Security Features
When your video content includes sensitive information, security can’t be an afterthought. With 658 distinct data breaches reported in the first quarter of 2025 alone, protecting proprietary information and customer data is more critical than ever.
Post on
Start by looking for platforms with industry-recognized certifications. ISO 27001 signals strong data protection practices and resilience against cyber threats. SOC 2 Type 2 compliance evaluates how a service provider handles security, confidentiality and privacy over time, not just once. And if your content involves health information, certifications like ISO 27799 and HIPAA compliance are key. (Hint: Idomoo checks all of those boxes.)
Beyond credentials, consider practical features like single sign-on (SSO) for secure access, granular permissions and access controls to manage who sees what and encryption to keep your videos protected during upload, storage and playback. Regular security audits and secure data transfer protocols are also worth asking about.
Scalability
Enterprise means big teams, big audiences and big expectations. That’s why your video platform needs to be able to scale without breaking a sweat.
Look for an EVP that can handle high-volume tasks with ease. Whether you’re personalizing millions of videos with customer data or auto-generating closed captioning across your entire library, the platform should be built to streamline production, not slow it down.
Distribution is just as important. Can you easily embed videos on your website or mobile app? Can you push them out through email, SMS/MMS, push notifications, social media apps or even programmatic ads and TV? Whether you’re sharing an online video or delivering personalized clips, your EVP should make it easy to get content where it needs to go and fast.
Brand Control
For most brands, it’s not enough just to get a video out the door. You want the right video out there — one that’s on-brand, compliant and aligned with your company’s voice, visuals and values.
The best enterprise video platforms make that easy with tools like customizable brand kits, where you can set your logos, fonts, colors and preferred styles. This helps ensure that every piece of content — no matter who’s creating it — matches the look and feel of the rest of your video library.
Of course, things get more complex when AI enters the mix. Some tools rely on generic templates or pulling from random video assets that don’t quite hit the mark. That’s why Lucas, our AI video creator, takes a different approach.
Since he uses retrieval augmented generation (RAG), Lucas doesn’t make things up. He draws from your approved content, creating visual frameworks that reflect your style and guidelines. The result? High-quality videos that are always on-brand and on-message.
