About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the VP Business Development. In this pivotal role, your main responsibility will be to build and nurture relationships with relevant strategic players, fostering future strategic partnerships, and exploring potential business opportunities to propel Idomoo’s growth in the AI-driven video platform domain.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction for business development initiatives, focusing on building relationships with relevant strategic players for future strategic and business partnerships.

Execution & Operation: We are looking for someone who is not only a strategic thinker but also an executor. The ideal candidate should be taking the strategy into reality and leading the execution of business plans.

Partnership and Relationship Management: Proactively initiate and engage with relevant strategic players, identify opportunities for collaboration, and foster long-term relationships to enhance Idomoo’s market presence.

Who is the ideal candidate?

Personality comes first:

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Energetic, passionate, and driven, with a hunger for success. Self-driven and independent personality.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with the dynamic and fast-paced nature of a startup environment.
  • Result-driven.
  • High execution person.

Years of Experience: 7-10 years in business development, preferably in the tech or AI industry.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of AI and video platform technologies.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies with a clear vision for growth, focusing on future strategic partnerships.
  • Strong Network. Ideally they worked in silicon valley in big tech and know the ins and outs of these companies, and also have relaitionship in those companies.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication skills for high-level discussions with major tech companies. Strong negotiation skills are essential.
  • Experience in US market strategy and US environment.
  • Excellent English & Hebrew

Location and Flexibility:

  • Geographic Preference: Ideally based in the US or willing to relocate to target companies and industry hubs.
  • Travel Willingness: Open to frequent travel as needed for client meetings and networking events.

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related fields. An MBA would be an advantage.
